Legend of Grimrock App Reviews

Legend of Grimrock is a great game -- challenging puzzles and monsters and a classic old-school dungeon crawl. I just want to know when the sequel will be coming!!

This is an excellent game! Great combat system, addicting gameplay and story line not to mention the awesome graphics Makes me think Im playing a newer console game. Overall a very very good game - well spent money.

I love these kinds of RPGs. Ive got 25+ hours into this and Im still not finished. I cant wait to play Legend of Grimrock II. This game is easily five stars.

Ok, first off I played this game on PC. Was never able to beat it cause I dont have a ton of time to sit at my computer. Once I saw it was on IOS I jumped on it. As always, I expected this port to not be so great (as most mobile ports can be). But I gotta say, playing it on the phone, it almost seems like this is the platform that the game was made for. Switching weapons seems to work faster and smoother and the ability to save anywhere at anytime really heightens the experience as I can play and put the phone down in a moments notice. The original soundtrack and sound effects are all there, and as long as you have a high definition screen the game looks absolutely beautiful. All in all I give this 5 stars because the game was great to begin with and it seems to be even better as a mobile port. Enjoy!

If you are a fan of the Eye of the Beholder series (or even Might and Magic or Bards Tale) you will feel right at home in the awesome homage to those titles. Really great and perfectly adapted to the iPad. Also love that its not Freemium or Pay to Play - you get the entire game and thats it.

Extremely fun and plenty of customization. Although I would have liked to see more items or a wider variety of spells, I was pleasantly surprised by this game! I hope to see more in the future for this game and from this company.

Lets see, absolutely zero personality or story difference based on your characters. No dialogue except one sided during some dreams. Poor interface for using items in the world, casting spells and moving (moving fast and well being the difference between life and death). Identical walls everywhere. Uninteresting combat. Frustrating save system. I could go on. I dont recommend this game (obviously).

I grew up playing bards tale on an apple 2gs and this brings me back. Ive been loving every minute of it and it looks and plays great on the new 6s.

The iPhone version is near perfect in the translation of this pc game to iOS, but the iPad version is an insufferable crashing monstrosity. Please fix this issue.

Im a huge fan of dungeon crawls and this game delivers. Great visuals, puzzles, monster encounters and loot make this a great game. Buy it!

I am playing on an iPad. Great UI. Lots of fun. I tries PC version but the touch UI is horrible on PC. Works great here. Far better than keyboard and mouse too. The game feels substantial, unlike most dungeon diving games on mobile.

This is a great game, some modern mechanics matched with a good old fashion dungeon crawl. Not much in the way of character guidance but reading online guides up front would help to assign skill points to optimize strengths. If you enjoy this kind of game you wont be disappointed.

The developers underestimate the graphics power of the iphone. Im sure the iphone 5 and newer could run this game with all the eye candy that the pc version has.

This game is so awesome, epic, and amazing!!!!!! I havent finished the first one, but I know when I do, Ill be DYING to play the second one!!!! Im begging you to please put it on the AppStore!!!!! I would buy it no matter the cost, I watched the trailer for it....and it looks sooooooooo awesome!!!!!!!

It looks and plays much better than the impression I had from the store. Im glad I tried it.

This dungeon crawler takes the best from old and new school video games. They use the touch screen in an amazing way. All in all one of the best apps Ive ever played.
